Up for bids is "Marshall's Chess Swindles" by Frank James Marshall. This book was published in 1914 and contains some of his most notable victories, including many of his trademark swindles, along with mini-essays on various chess topics. It is inscribed and signed by Marshall in clear and bright ink. Frontispiece portrait, 7 introductory pages, plus 130 pages of games and a complete index and errata list. Ex-libris David DeLucia. L/N 3213.
This book is in good condition. Boards have light wear, rear board has some spotting, spine is sunned and worn at tips, binding solid, page edges toned and a bit angled. Contents very good.
