Up for bids are bound volumes of Tidskrift for Schack for the years 1906 (i-vi, 1-438), 1907 (i-v, 1-342), and 1914 (i-iv, 1-236), edited by Gustav and Ludvig Collijn. All three volumes are nicely bound with red-tinged page edges, and contain portraits of the leading Nordic players of the time, as well as other top players, such as Harry Nelson Pillsbury. L/N 6345.
The 1906 volume contains the Stockholm 1906 tournament "book" (L/N 5281), with participants' portrait, and the 1907 volume contains the Copenhagen 1907 tournament "book" (L/N 5283) with participants' portrait.
These books are in very good condition, and are in solid and handsome marble-design bindings with leatherette spines and corners. Boards are clean, with light wear to spines, which have the gilt magazine titles and years. The 1914 volume has a small chip at the spine top, not affecting the text. Some page edge tops have light spotting. Contents excellent.
