WALKA O TRON SZACHOWY(FIGHT FOR THE CHESS THRONE ) - STANISŁAW GAWLIKOWSKI,
First edition.
The author discusses the history of the fight for the chess world championship from the beginning, that is from 1886 to the world championship achieved by Karpowa in 1975. I will mention several hundred wonderful parties, which the author collected from himself and from friends chess from around the world.
Is it exciting to write about chess? You can. But what is writing there? Just look at the final position of one of the parties of the nineteenth-century match de La Bourdonnais-McDonnell, to understand that "Leonardo da Vinci Code" is three small pieces a step away from the promotion - barely small miki ;-)
