Condition: New book.
Fedor Bohatirchuk, 1892 - 1984, belonged to the world best players between wars. Reputable scientist, USSR champion in 1927, participant in all 3 Moscow tournaments 1925, 1935, 1936. Boris Spasski said about Bohatirchuk that if he plays chess professionally, he could be the first Soviet world champion.
Bohatirchuk emigrated to Canada in 1948. The books include detailed biography, more than 200 games annotated by himself or other masters, about 40 crosstables, a lot of photos and illustrations, indexes.
The book title means „Fedor Bohatirchuk. Doctor Zhivago of Soviet Chess“.
