Eleven vintage issues of "The British Chess Magazine" for the year 1928 (Vol 48). The lot comprises the following: February - December 1928. The May issue has a small piece missing from its rear cover and is therefore only in Fair plus condition. The December issue has been well read and has a medium sized piece missing from the rear cover plus severe scuffing and signs of handling. This particular issue I would say is in Poor condition. The other nine issues are in Good plus overall condition and are very clean and unmarked, internally. They all have aprevious owner's penned annotation on their front covers, however. The December issue has the index (stapled in) for the BCM for the year 1928. All of the magazines staples are a little rusty but they are all still holding on to their covers. Each magazine has around 35pp. Any questions, please just ask. Unpacked weight is around 590g. Postage in the UK will be £3.00. Europe and elsewhere will be more.
