i-vi + 513 pp. Titel page, portrait of the author and foreword bound in the end of the book. The book contains 562 games, of them 243 against Anderssen. Bound in red cloth with gilt print on spine.
The German chess master and mayor Fritz Riemann (1859-1932) was the last Anderssen-pupil who played with him in the Breslau chess club. Riemann had some good tournament results, i.e. the Leipzig jubilee tournament 1888 where scared the first place with von Bardeleben.
L/N 3122. Cover somewhat faded and slightly worn. Otherwise condition VG.
