"The Best in Chess" by Horowitz and Battell. Published in hardback by Hodder and Stoughton in 1966. First UK Edition. Betts (43-21) states that this book is a "pot pourri of articles, games, problems, stories, etc from the magazine Chess Review between the years 1935 and 1965". The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The internal pages are very clean and inscription free. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The page edge block has a couple of brown specks and some even tanning. No dustjacket. Further scanned images are available on request. 412 large pages. Heavy! Approx.unpacked weight: 830g.
