Two thematic chess titles: "Practical Chess Endings" by Paul Keres (published in hardback by Batsford in 1974) and "A Guide to Chess Endings" by Euwe and Hooper (published by RKP in 1959). Both books are First Edition. 262pp and 248pp, respectively. Both books are in Good condition. The binding on each is tight and thee is no shelf lean present. The book have obviously been read and studied over the years and there are therefore signs of handling (the page edge block, for example) but they are still in entirely useable condition. The dustjackets are also in Good condition. The Keres volume dustjacket has evidence of liquid staining and the Euwe and Hooper volume dustjacket has some scuffing to note. Both are Good reading copies that appear to be inscription free. Positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 1015g.
