"Pawn Endings" by Averbakh and Maizelis. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1974. First Edition. 318pp. The book is in Very Good plus condition. The binding is tight, there is no shelf lean and the internal pages are all very clean. There is no foxing in the book. The page edge block is clean. Inscription free. The dustjacket Is in Very Good condition. It has the usual fading along the spine which has turned the brown lettering to a grey colour, as so often seen with this book. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 555g.
