Two chess books: "Think Like a Grandmaster" by Alexander Kotov (published in hardback by Batsford in 1972) and "The Guinness Book of Chess Grandmasters" by William Hartston (published in softback by Guinness Publishing in 1996). 200pp + 224pp, respectively. The Kotov book is in Good+ condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The internal pages are clean and inscription free. The page edge block shows moderate signs of handling/tanning. The book has no foxing. The dustjacket is also in Good+ condition. It is complete and suffers only from an overall browning efect that was quite common with this book, in my experience. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. The Hartston book is in Very Good plus condition and appears to be largely unread. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 890g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £4.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
