"A Short History of Chess" by H.J.R. Murray. Published by Oxford / Clarendon Press in 1963. First Edition. 138pp. The book is in Good+ condition. The binding is tight and the internal pages are all clean apart from the residue of two small sellotape marks on the front endpaper. The book has no shelf lean or foxing present. The page edge block is lightly tanned from age and has a few discolouration specks on it. The dustjacket is also in Good+ condition. It is complete but has fading to note along the spine and the rear panel plus light scuffing to the front paper. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve.
