Praze, Šachovní Klub Dobruský (until number 1 of Vol. VI) and self-published by the editorial team (from number 2 of Vol. VI), 1909-1912. Pretty leather quarter binding with marble covers, and title and gold engraving on the spine. Title page + IV unnumbered Index pages + 192 pages + Title page + IV unnumbered Index pages + 1 blank sheet + 192 pages + Title page + IV unnumbered pages + 1 blank sheet + 192 pages. All volumes are quite complete (no plates appear in this period). Bound without covers. Volume 1912 is on common paper, while volumes 1909/1910 and 1911 is on heavy white paper (=something like a de-luxe edition). Since Vol. V (year 1911) the magazine was published between January and December of the same year. 24 x 17 cm. In Czech.

Good to very good: Some rubbing on the covers, at the corners, edges, and especially on the spine. Slight marking with pencil (probably easy to erase) in virtually all problems and games and very few small annotation on some page. Some wrinkle and slight stain in few pages. Pages 145-176 of Vol. V and practically all of Vol. VI have a slight binding cut defect at their outer side edge, especially affecting Vol. VI, in which there is some difficulty in turning the page to the Immediately after, but I checked page by page, and everything is complete. Famous ex-libris inside the front cover.

The "Casopis ceskych sachistu" is the main Czech chess magazine and is published since 1906/07 without a break until the present. It started as Casopis ceskych sachistu, in 1919-1926 titled Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu, then in 1927-1938, 1946-now called Ceskoslovensky sach. In 1939-1945, its title was Sach.
