18 vintage issues of "The British Chess Magazine" from the 1960s. The lot comprises the following: April 1963, Aug 1963, Oct 1963, Nov 1963, April 1964, June 1964, Nov 1964, Jan 1965, Feb 1965, June 1965, March 1966, April 1966, May 1966, June 1968, July 1968, Oct 1968, June 1969 and Aug 1969. Overall, the magazines are in Fair - Good condition. The covers of the Nov 1963 and Feb 1965 issues are missing and the covers of the Aug 1963 issue are present but detached. All the other 15 magazines are in Good condition internally although several of their front covers have light penned annotations and numbers on them. Two magazines (Nov 1964 and Oct 1968) have a part coffee cup ring stain on their front cover. Despite these depredations, the magazines themselves are a wealth of great games and instruction from over 50 years ago and are all very readable.
