DESCRIPTION

"The British Chess Magazine, 1941". Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1941. First Edition. Volume 61. 324pp. The volume is in Good overall condition. Includes index. The binding is tight and the internal pages (still using glossy paper, despite the war!) are all very clean and inscription free. The (speckled red) page edge block is clean. The main depredation with the volume is a strong shelf lean, as can hopefully be seen in the third of the scanned images, where the lettering is visible along the spine. There is a small crease to several of the early pages, at the top of the page. Previous owner's bookplate on the front endpaper. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 445g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £2.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
