"The British Chess Magazine, 1917". Published in hardback by Trubner & Co in 1917. First Edition. Volume 37. 412pp. Includes index. The volume is in Fair Plus overall condition. It has been well read and can only be classed now as a good reference copy. The binding is reasonably tight and all the pages are present apart from the front and rear endpapers. There are annotations on a few pages and several pages have small stain marks (see scanned image) but MOST pages are clean and unmarked. In addition, the volume has a marked shelf lean and stains on both covers (see scans). Despite all the above depredations, volumes of the BCM for the First World War era are quite scarce. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 615g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
