IMAGE THUMBNAILS
DESCRIPTION

Four vintage of issues of Europe Echecs from 1967/69/71. In French language. They are issue numbers 96, 102, 120 and 144. The months in question are Jan & July 1967, Jan 1969 and Jan 1971. The magazines are in Good Plus condition for their age. They have mild handling indentations and some light scuffing to the covers but that is to be expected from a magazine that does not have a hard protective cover. Each magazine has around 20 large pages. The magazines appear to be inscription and annotation free apart from some penned notes in issue 120 (see scanned image). Issue number 144 has some sun fading to its cover but this is more than compensated by it having a report on the Palma 1970 Interzonal (Fischer 3.5pts ahead of a stellar field) inside the magazine. Early years of this magazine are hard to acquire in my experience and are therefore quite collectible. Games and positions are in French algebraic notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight 230g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £1.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
