DESCRIPTION

Eight vintage of issues of "Chess World" from 1957. They are: Vol 12 (Feb, Mar, April, May, July, Aug, Oct and Dec 1957). All are in Very Good condition apart from the March and May issues, which I would classify as being in Good Plus condition. All the magazines used glossy paper which remains in very clean condition. The magazines appear to be annotation and inscription free. The Marich issue has a very small piece missing from the bottom of the magazine (see scan) and the May issue has a strong cease on the front cover. The covers are otherwise complete and well attached to the magazine staples. These magazines are from an iconic chess magazine (the successor to the Australasian Chess Review) published by the great C.J.S. Purdy and are scarce and collectible. Each magazine has around 24 pages. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight 285g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
