"The Book of the Nottingham International Chess Tournament, 1936" by Alexander Alekhine. Published in softback by Dover Books in 1962. 291pp. The book is in Very Good condition. The binding is tight and the book has clearly been well looked after over the years. There is no foxing to the pages and the edge block and the internal pages are all very clean and unmarked. Inscription free. There is a small area of fairly deep indentations to the front cover as though something heavy and quite sharp has been run across the cover at some point in the past. However, this area has not lost any of the cover surface. Usual fading to the spine area but not that much. A book of the strongest chess tournament ever held in England! Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 355g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £2.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
