Original red cloth, gilt-lettering, rounded outer corners, VG, with very scarce dust jacket (discoloured on spine, chipped at head and foot, small piece missing on back corner). 246pp.
A classic work reprinted numerous times throughout the 20th century. Once described by Botvinnik in a 1984 interview as the best chess book ever! (See Dunne, Great Chess Books p.26).
