Praha, Miroslav Soukup, 1942. Orig. softcover. First edition. Frontispiece (photo of Jan Vasta), title, (4), 57, (3) pages. Series Sachove umeni (called also Czech Christmas Series) no. 9. Limited edition of 100 numbered copies, however this copy has no number. Size 18 cm. 100 grams. In Czech. LN 2856, Soukup 119, Mokry 85b.
Good+: cover is somewhat soiled, front cover is a little frayed at fore-edge. Internally unread, still an uncut copy. Text is clean and with no writings. Some sheets (more exactly double-sheets) are loose from the book-block, but in this way the book was probably published.
The book contains autobiographical foreword and 100 problems by Jan Vasta, 1885-1968, almost all are 3-movers. The title means in English: The Golden Rod.
The book appears as both hard- and softcover, 50 copies were probably published from each.
The book was published in a limited edition of 100 numbered copies, however this copy has no number (picture 4).
