Good or better: light/some general wear, no major flaws. Text is OK, very sporadic non-disturbing notes in red crayon.
De Problemist is a Belgian problem magazine that was published quarterly or bimonthly in 1927-1931. It was incorporated into Het Schaakleven since November 1931.
Het Schaakleven is a Belgian magazine that was published fortnightly in 1931/32, and monthly in 1932/33, 1933/1934.
The book consists of following volumes:
De Problemist 1928 (complete volume 2): issues no. 5-8: paginated separately (8 + 10 + 8 +12p). Orig. front covers bound in.
De Problemist 1929 (complete volume 3): issues no. 9-14: paginated separately (8 + 12 + 8 + 12 + 8 + 12p). Orig. front covers bound in.
De Problemist 1930-1931 (complete volume 4): issues no. 15-23, of which 22/23 is a double-issue: paginated separately (8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 16p). Orig. front covers bound in.
De Problemist 1931 (complete volume 5): issue no. 24: 8 pages (=all published in this volume). Orig. front cover bound in.
Het Schaakleven 1931/32 (complete volume 1): issues no. 1-23/24: 336 pages. Front- and rear covers of numbers 1 and 23/24 bound in. (Includes De Problemist, usually 4 pages in each number).
