"Winning Chess Traps (300 Ways to Win in the Opening)" by Irving Chernev. Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1947. First UK Edition. Betts 13-141. The book is in Good Plus condition. The internal pages are all clean and inscription free. The book stands straight and has no bowing or shelf lean. The page edge block, however, shows strong signs of handling. The dustjacket is only in Fair condition as it has a large chunck missing from the rear panel (see scan). Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight 385g.
