Mednis. King Power in Chess. Wilhelm Steinitz believed in a fighting King he knew how to skillfully use it not only in the endgame but in the  middlegame and in the opening  it is an active part of the struggle in Chess and should not be a spectator!

This revised book by Edmar Mednis from 1982 is all about using the King as a very strong fighting piece. Hardback, with a dust jacket. Many diagrams. Descriptive notation. 357 pages. McKay, New York 1982.
