In Czech language. Published by Chess Club Dobruský. Editors Josef Louma, Dr Vladimír Mrazík, Amos Pokorný, Josef Rejfír, Emil Richter, Jan Rychtár.  

Half-title, title, III-XVI, (8)p with 13 photos, (2), 256 pages. 17 x 25 cm. L/N 5450. Soukup 90, Mokrý 117. 

The most important book on the Prague Chess olympiad with 329 mostly annotated games, of 680 played. Round summaries, results, indexes, interesting photos.

1) USA 48/72; 2) Poland 47; 3) Czechoslovakia 46½; 4) Yugoslavia 46; 5-7) Germany, Latvia, and Sweden 45½. Best individual results had Aljechin and Tartakower, both with 13½ of 18. The winner of the woman tournament was Vera Menchik 8/8, in the book are all 8 games with her own annotations.

Modern maroon binding with gilt print on front cover and spine. Paper browned. Condition: VG.
