"Europe Echecs, 1963" (Vol 5). Published by Europe Echecs in 1963. First Edition. Magazine issue numbers 49-60, inclusive. 271 large pages. No index. In French language. Privately bound in blue hardback without any gilt lettering on the spine. The binding is strong with no shelf lean. The magazines are all in Good Plus condition. They are all inscription and annotation free and suffer only from mild handling indentations, from over the years. There are also a few pages that have an old sellotape repair still present. The early issues of this magazine are hard to acquire in my experience and are therefore quite collectible. Games and positions are in French algebraic notation.
