"Chess" by C.H.O'D Alexander. Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman in 1956. 196 pages. The book and dustjacket are in Very Good Plus condition. This book has clearly been very well cared for over the years. The binding is very strong and there are no obvious faults to note. The book appears to be annotation free and has no foxing. The page edge block is clean. The signature of Alexander (British Chess Champion, 1938 and 1956 and all round cyphering super hero) is on the front endpaper in what appears to be slightly faded red biro. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Approx.unpacked weight is 400g.
