Fuer Haus und Familie (Feuilleton Beilage of the Düna Zeitung) – volumes 1907 + 1908 + 1909 bound in an old file-order.
Riga – Latvia, 1907-1909. Newspapers bound in a file order. One issue has usually 8 pages, cca 500 pages in all (of which around 200 are on chess). Large size ca 30 x 24 cm. The weight 1,020 grams. In German. Whyld page 117.
The file order is Fair: front cover is stained, some edgewear. The newspapers are internally About Good: some wear to margins (they are untrimmed), some general wear, occasional marks in crayon (nothing serious), occasional soil.

The Düna Zeitung was a daily newspaper, chess was published fortnightly in a supplement „Fuer Haus und Familie“.
The chess columns are very extensive, one is usually 2-3 full pages long. The set contains 72 issues with chess columns, 6 issues are missing (see below).
The 3 years offered here contain 200+ annotated games, about 100 problems, about 40 endgame studies, articles, crosstables, a lot of news etc.
The volumes are ordered backwards in the way they were stored in the binder – 1909 at the beginning, then 1908 and finally 1907.
