London – England, Houlston and Stoneman, July-Dec 1850. Orig. publisher’s cloth. VIII + 354 pages + 24 pages Appendix. Size 18 cm. The weight 380 grams. In English. Whyld page 141.

Fair to good: binding little worn, there are a few tears on spine. Frontispiece somewhat stained. Title has defect at spine. In text occasionally pen notes/marks, pages occasionally a little/somewhat stained.

The magazine was published fortnightly, the volume contains 12 chess columns one full page each, with 12 problems and 12 games.

Editor of chess section was Daniel Harrwitz.
