Szachista 1997. Year VII.
In 1990, the chess magazine "Szachy" ceased to be published. The last issue that appeared was 9/1990.
A gap is created in the Polish chess press.
Thanks to the kindness of the "Res Publica Press" Publishing House, a new chess magazine "Szachista" has been published since January 1991. Addressed to all fans of the royal game. By combining professional commentary with a fictionalized form, it attracts amateurs and professionals.
