New York, Brentano, 1881.8°. With frontispiece and some diagrams. VIII, 2 sheets, 539 pages. Original blind embossed publisher cloth binding with lettering on spine. L/N 5211; Betts 25-14; Chicco / Porreca, p. 246, with reference to this edition with biographies, chess games and problems and a report on the previous 1st to 4th congresses. Mackenzie and Grundy won the tournament.
Condition: Some wear, defects on upper spine. Title page loose. Paper browned. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Good!

Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.
