Chess Review 1935:
The Chess Review. Official Organ of the American Chess Federation. Editor Israel A. Horowitz. 3rd year 1935, issues 1 - 12 (January - December) in 1 volume. New York, The Chess Review, 1935. 8°. With some text illustrations and many diagrams. 292 pages. Red cloth binding with lettering on spine. L/N 6418; Betts 7 - 76. With vintage index. All booklets with original cover.
Condition: binding needs repair, front detached. Bookblock very good. Lettering on spine faded. Former owner stamp on front and on right book edge - see pictures. Front cover of issue 1 with 2 small tears, very few marginalia (I have found 5 of them) like checkmarks and underlining. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Still Good!
Postage EUR (insurance included): It depends on whether the shipment is made by parcel or registered mail. I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.
I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.
I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight isn´t important although it is limited to 31,5 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.
Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.
Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.
