"A History of Chess" by Harry Golombek. Published in hardback by Routledge and Kegan Paul in 1976. First Edition. 256 large pages. The book is in Good Plus condition. It stands straight with no shelf lean. It is inscription and foxing free. The only fault of note is mild, age related tanning to the internal pages. The page edge block is clean and it is obvious that that this volume has been well cared for over the years. Previous owners sticker onbthe inside of the front board. The dustjacket is also in Good Plus condition with tiny nicks here and there to note. Copiously illustrated in colour and black & white. Further scanned images are available on request. Heavy!
