"Zaanstreek International Schaaktournooi, 1946" by Schelfhout and Kottnauer. Published in hardback by Jacob van Campen in Amsterdam in around 1946. Presumed First Edition. In Dutch language and Algebraic notation. 134 large pages. The book is in Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and the book stands straight with no shelf lean. The internal pages are all clean and unmarked. The book is inscription free. The depredations to note are slight foxing to the page edge block (extensive on the top edge only) and light damage (two miniscule nicks on the front cover that have lightly penetrated the green cover) and scuff marks to the book covers. Published in a pictorial cover, without a dustjacket. Marvellous pen cartoons of several players. A treat of a chess book. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight is 350g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
