"101 of my Best Games of Chess" by F. D. Yates. Published in hardback by Printing Craft in 1934. First Edition. 171pp. The book is in Good Minus condition. The binding is good although a little of the gutter is visible on the inside of the frontispiece. The book exhibits a moderate shelf lean but stands straight. The page edge block shows signs of age and handling. The boards are in Good condition with some mild discolouration (see scan). Internally the pages are all in clean, inscription free condition. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded considerably. The pages have tanned a little but this is from age only. The book is free of foxing apart from some light staining to the title page and the frontispiece (see scan). Games are given in English descriptive notation. No dustjacket. Betts 29-154.
