Some ceremony or press conference
Alexander Roshal, Miroslav Filip
large photo size 23.5 x 18 cm
Good or better: light signs of use, back side a little stained. Some writings and stamp of the photographer (Y. N. Shchennikov or Shchennikova) on the back.
I can only recognize two people:
Alexander Roshal (1936-2007), Russian trainer and journalist – sitting first from the left.
Czech GM Miroslav Filip (1928-2009) – sitting first from the right, he was an arbiter of the match (the main arbiter was Lothar Schmid).
The faces of some other persons are also familiar to me but I cannot remember their names - maybe you will recognize someone else.
Biographical data:
Alexander Roshal (1936-2007), Russian trainer and journalist. In 1968, he was a co-founder (together with Tigran Petrosian) of the well-known magazine "64".
Miroslav Filip (1928-2009), Czech GM, the best Czechoslovak player in 1950s, one of world's best chess players around 1960, World Championship Candidate 1956 and 1962. GM Filip is also well known as arbiter (Karpov - Korchnoi, Baguio 1978, women world championships etc).
The photo meassures 23.5 x 18 cm and here is the picture close to its real size:
