Hamburg, DER SCHACHLADEN, 1981/82. Original softback edition with 9 individual numbers. 252 pages (individual pagination of each number, including covers: 28 + 32 + 32 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 24 + 24). From number 8 the usual purple color of the covers disappears to give way to red color, the words "BUNDESLIGA AKTUELL" also disappear from the upper edge, and for the first time and from this number 8, not only the front covers, but also all the back covers include excellent photography. 29,6 x 21 cm. In German.
Very good: Minimal friction on any edge or corner and tiny wrinkles on the spines (mainly near the staples). The front covers of the numbers 1, 5-7 with small pencil notation (year and/or month), perhaps erasable, although somewhat strong and have surely left their mark. Minor flaws on the back covers of the numbers 2 (some slight wrinkles and slight wear) and 9 (tiny break in the middle of the outer side edge). Small stain on the front cover of number 8, with a tiny residue of some liquid?, which has penetrated, affecting pages 2-4 very slightly.
Excellent magazine on the current affairs of the Bundesliga, with many games, some of them commented, and with nice photographic report (including front covers of all numbers, and back covers of numbers 8-9).
According to the information from different sources available on the Internet, this rare and scarce magazine was published from 1980 to 1985, completing 4 volumes.
1. JAHRGANG 1980/81, individual numbers 1-9.
2. JAHRGANG 1981/82, individual numbers 1-9. Offered in this lot.
3. JAHRGANG 1983, individual numbers 1-9. Offered in another lot. See my other auctions.
4. JAHRGANG 1984/85. According to lot 1221 of Klittich Auction 71, this last year is made up of 7 issues, and the last one published was the double number 9/10. Taking into account that it is certain that issues 1-3 are individual numbers, that issue 9/10 is double number, and that in total 10 numbers were published in 7 issues, I think that it is most likely that issues 1-4 were individual numbers, and that the issues 5-10 were 3 double numbers (5/6, 7/8 and 9/10).
