VERY RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND

Paris and Londres, Chez Numa Preti and Chez Barthès et Lowell, (1883). Half Title page + Title page + 115 pages. Beautiful private quarter hardback binding with gold print on spine. 20 x 13,6 cm. In French.
Very good: Quite scratched binding on the edges of the spine. Very light smoky smell, mainly near the outer side, although to perceive it I had to get as close as possible (at a normal reading distance, for a normal nose like mine, it is totally imperceptible). Ex-libris (inside front cover) and small pencil annotation probably easy to erase (at bottom edge after page 115), both from former owner, Italian collector Mr. Pellegrini. The interior is clean, with very slight general browning in edges. All diagrams have a slight pencil notation (probably easy to erase), it seems that mentioning the squares in which both kings are. Honestly, the book is very pleasant to have in your hands, and is structurally in excellent condition.

The French Composer of Chess Problems Emile Pradignat (1831-1912) created more than 1500 Problems. At that time, he was considered one of the most respected Composer of Chess Problems. The present edition is a collection of 100 of its own problems.
Very rare, very scarce and extremely hard to find.
In all 31 Klittich-Pfankuch Auctions that I know, from November 2003 to June 2006, and from November 2008 to June 2020, only has been auctioned 1 copy. In the 66 Klittich-Pfankuch Auction, in worse condition, sold for a Total Price 378,20 EUR.
