the First Chess Champion of the history of Singapore, and 3 times Singaporean Chess Champion in 1949, 1960 and 1968

Singapore, Lion Publications, 1967. Original hardback edition with gold embossed title in spine and dustjacket. Half Title page + Title page + Contents page (including Errata) + 103 pages, with the photo of the participants on page 5. 21,7 x 14,1 cm. In English.
Good: Dust jacket with breaks in the edges and small losses in some area, and with slight discoloration in the upper edge and very strong in the spine. Slightly brushed binding, with a slight inclination at the top (opening on both sides). Small ex-libris in the lower outer corner of the Dedication page. Inside in very good condition, unwritten and practically spotless (some small "dirty" and slightly visible on pages 28-29), with slight wrinkles on the inside of the back cover.
Excellent book on the 1967 Singapore Championship, written by the Tournament Runner-up, with History of the Singapore Chess Championship, excellent presentation of the participants of the Book Tournament, and with all 30 games extensively analyzed.
