Ludek Pachman – Robert Wade

Trencianske Teplice 1949 (Reti Memorial)
Signed (through carbon) by both players
The scoresheet is in Czech, written in Pachman‘s hand, signed by both players. Both text and signatures are through carbon.
Size: 21 x 15 cm.
About Good: 2 archive holes, carbon spots, all shown in picture.
Biographical data:
Ludek Pachman (1924-2003), Czech GM, in 1940s and 1950s the best Czechoslovak player together with M. Filip, 7x Czechoslovak champion, German champion. He took part on many chess olympiads. Chess writer and theoretician. He won 2 games against Bobby Fischer in 1959.
Robert G. Wade (1921-2008), IM, 3x New Zealand Champion, since 1949 lived in England, 2x British champion. He played in several olympiads, author of many books.
