"The British Chess Magazine, 1971". Published in softback by the BCM in 1971. Volume 91. First Edition. 476pp. Includes index. The volume is in Very Good overall condition. For this volume only the BCM decided on an experiment with softback binding for the years magazines. The experiment was not repeated and from 1972 onwards they reverted to the traditional hardback version. Therefore, this is the original 1971 version, as published by the BCM, back in 1971. The outer covers are very clean and the binding is tight with no shelf lean. The page edge block is clean. The gilt lettering on the spine has faded slightly but is still very readable. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free. It is obvious that this volume has been well cared for over the years. Much Fischer material in the run up to Spassky and the "Match of the Century" in 1972. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 650g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
