Den Haag, 's-Gravenhaagsch Schaakgenootschap DISCENDO DISCIMUS, 1928. Dark blue (almost black) cloth binding (perhaps original from the publisher) with the golden Title embossed in front cover and spine. Title page + 2 unnumbered Index pages + 136 pages + 8 pages and 1 leaf (MEDEDEELINGEN) after page 12 + 1 leaf (NEDERLANDSCHE SCHAAKBOND) and 8 pages (LEDENLIJST) after page 20. Bound without covers unnumbered (maybe as published, because the first page of each issue is practically a cover). 21,4 x 14,1 cm. In Dutch.
Good to very good: Discolored spine, with the Title barely visible. Remains of old label (only the mark, without adhesive residue) on the lower part of the spine. Ex-libris by collector Leo van der Meer on the inside front cover, with a pencil notation (probably erasable) in the upper outer corner opposite in the Safeguard. Crack in the upper half of the interior of the spine, between the last page of the Index and page 1, and a lighter one after page 20, although the book is still attached in good condition. Some wrinkles and some minimal normal flaw for a book this age. Inside without writings.
