"Manual of the End-Game" by J. Mieses. Published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1947. First Edition. 70pp. Betts 21-29. The book is in Good Plus overall condition, for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The internal pages are clean and annotation free. The page edge block is lightly tanned, from age only. The dustjacket is in Good Minus condition. It has a small area of loss at the head and tail of the spine plus a couple of tiny chips to extremities. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve.
