"An Introduction to the Endgame at Chess" by P. Sergeant. Published in hardback by Chatto and Windus in 1939. First Edition. 219pp. Betts 21-21. The book is in Good overall condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The boards are clean and so are the internal pages apart from a pencilled dedication on the inside of the front board. The main depredation with the book is fairly heavy foxing to the page edge blocks. Aside from the foxing, the book could be classified as being in Good Plus condition. The dustjacket is in Fair condition. It has closed tears and extensive scuffing and foxing spots. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve.
