"Cabbage Heads and Chess Kings" by Bruce Hayden. Published in hardback by Arco Publications in 1960. First Edition. 223pp. Betts 43-38. The book is in Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The internal pages are clean and inscription free. The main depredation with the volume is quite extensive foxing to the page edge blocks. Aside from this fault, the book could be classified as being in Very Good condition. The book dustjacket (which is quite scarce, in my experience) is in Good condition, with no loss but some areas of scuffing, discoloration and spotting to note (see scan). The jacket is protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 330g.
