DESCRIPTION

"Botvinnik the Invincible" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by David McKay in 1946. First Edition. 220pp. Betts 21-17. The book is in Very Good condition, for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The book is inscription and annotation free. There are very minor faults, commensurate with age, such as mild tanning to the pages and page edge blocks but these inevitable with a book that is nearly 75 years old. There is no foxing to the book. It is obvious that this book has been well cared for over the years. The dustjacket is in Good condition. It has two very small areas of loss on the spine extremities that have been neatly camouflaged with coloured paper (see scan). There is also quite strong discolouration / scuffing to the rear panel (see scan). The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 325g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
