"Chess Pie" No. 3. Official pre-tournament souvenir of the 1936 Nottingham International Chess Tournament. Published in softback by the British Chess Federation in 1936. First Edition. 98 large pages plus several pages of quaint adverts. Betts 25-122. The booklet is in Good overall condition for its age. The covers are slightly scuffed but attached (two short tears to the front covers have been sellotaped to prevent further ripping). The staples have rusted slightly, but not bled. The binding is tight. The internal pages are annotation free apart from a previous owners signature on the first advert page. Several pages have mild discolouration to page extremities to note. The page edge block is tanned from age and handling. Scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight is 400g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
