"Tarrasch's Best Games of Chess" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by Chatto and Windus in 1947. First Edition. 385pp. Betts 29-142. The book is in Good Plus condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The boards and page edge blocks are clean (although the edge block has tanned, from age only). The internal pages are clean and inscription free. The dustjacket is in Good Minus condition. It has small areas of loss to the head and tail of the spine and to one corner (see scan). The spine is tanned and the rear panel has scuff marks. There is a closed tear on the front panel. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation.
