Czech master Ladislav Prokes, 1884-1966, was strong chess player (Czechoslovak co-champion in 1921, took part in several chess Olympiads) and also well known as endgame study composer (author of some 1200 studies, many of them awarded in competitions).
Condition: Paperback. Some wear. Paper yellowed. Batches of pages are loose.
