Gouda, KOCH & KNUTTEL, 1896. Beautiful original publisher's binding with Title and engravings embossed on the front cover and spine. Title page + VII Register pages (Joint Index for the 2 years, 1895 and 1896, as published) + Steinitz Portrait after page 56 + 284 pages. 24,4 x 16,5 cm. In Dutch.
Very good: The only major flaw are the stains on the back cover, especially the white stain on the outside of the back cover. Strong foxing in the Steinitz portrait and the pages before and after the portrait. Very few small spots, with one more visible on page 203. Broken and loose rear guard, but complete.

In my current auction are present the first 10 years 1893-1902, as well as 1905, 1908, 1910-1911, 1913, and 1916-1917, all of them with the publisher's original binding, except 1908 with a similar binding, and 1910 with the original but personalized binding at the bottom of the spine.
