"TIJDSCHRIFT VAN DEN NEDERLANDSCH-INDISCHEN SCHAAKBOND". 2de Jaargang. 1917.
Magelang, Nederlandsch-Indischen Schaakbond, 1917. Modeste private half linen marbled binding with no lettering. IV Register pages (including Title page) + 290 pages. 24,2 x 16,2 cm. In Dutch.
Fair to good: The main defect is the deterioration of the binding, especially the spine. Rectification of a letter with blue ink on page 176. Small cutout in the upper margin of pages 225-226 minimally affecting the text: on page 225 only number 10 is missing, and on page 226 number 2 and letters "illen". Another cutout of the upper outer corner of pages 265-266, missing only "DECEMBER 1917" on page 265, and on page 266 the letters "Vers". Despite the flaws, the interior is in reasonably good condition, and I honestly think it's a good copy for binding.

RARE, VERY SCARCE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.
This magazine was published monthly in Indonesia in 1916-1941.
In my current auction are present the following 8 years: 1917-1918, 1921-1925 and 1931, with modest binding, still solid and perfectly usable, although I would honestly bind them with a nice new binding. It belonged to one of its Editors, L. G. Eggink. Please see the other items in my auction.
